Q: How do you calculate shipping and handling charges?
A: Our server contacts UPS during your checkout procedure to get the most current and accurate shipping costs based on your zip code and the total shipping weight of your order. Certain items are large but light. UPS has a rate structure that compensates for their actual cost to deliver those items. Basically the UPS shipping cost for a truck load of helium balloons will cost substantially more to ship than a brick to the same location. The brick weighs more but takes just a small space on the truck.
Q: What shipping options do you offer?
A: That is dependant upon your shipping address. For instance UPS Ground is not available to Alaska or Italy. For the continental USA we offer Ground, 3 Day Air, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air Saver and Next Day Air Early AM. To other parts of the globe we offer several shipping options depending upon the country.
Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: The total time it will take to receive your order is based on product availability, your shipping selection, your shipping address, and order processing (generally within 24 hours). This means if you select 2nd Day shipping you may not receive your order for up to 5 days. We will do everything we can to get your product to you as fast as possible. UPS does not pick up or deliver on weekends or holidays, those days add additional delays.
Q: Do you ship to a PO box?
A: Sorry but we can not ship to a PO box. UPS is not permitted by the US Post Office to deliver to them.
Q: How do I return an item I purchased through Honeywell Parts.com?
A: To apply for a refund of your unopened merchandise within 30 days of purchase, email your reason for return to . You will be issued an RMA number, which should be clearly marked on the outside of the package. Once you receive this RMA number, ship it back to us using the address on your packing slip that was included with your order. Be sure to include a copy of your packing slip in the box so we know who to credit for the return. Refunds will only be issued on unopened, uninstalled and resalable merchandise. The original shipping fee will not be refunded. Defective merchandise will be repaired or exchanged with the same item when the defective merchandise is returned to Honeywell Parts.com within 1 year of purchase. An explanation of the nature of the defect must be included with the returned merchandise. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping refunded merchandise back to Honeywell Parts.com. Custom ordered and custom size items will not be accepted for return.
Q: How long does it take to get a credit on my charge card once I return something?
A: Once we receive the returned item and inspect it, your credit will be processed. Due to banking delays it will take up to 7 days from the time we receive your return for your charge card company to show your credit in their system.
