I called the service line and explained my diagnosis and the parts person confirmed my findings, mailed out the solonoid and it actually fixed my no water to the pad problem.

I see the part has been reconfigured which is good the last one clogged up after 3 years of use. (I took it apart to clean it.) It is very well made and is working just fine. I do have a question, when this humidifer was installed on the new furnace the installer said the control box was not required and wired this directly. Will that be a problem or is it ok?

Using the exploded view of humidifier parts found on your website, and the list of replacement parts, it was easy to order the correct item to get my humidifier working again. Installing the Solenoid valve assembly was simple and the newer version is much better than the original version. Thank you for the computerized assistance.
